Which LAT schedule is this?
The Law Admission Test (LAT) is the entry test that the Higher Education Commission (HEC) holds through its Education Testing Council (ETC) for admission to the five-year LLB programme in Pakistan. HEC publishes all LAT sittings for a year in one ETC test calendar. This page follows the 2026 calendar, which HEC revised on 25 August 2026, and will add the 2027 sittings as soon as HEC releases the next calendar.
The dates below are the ones listed in the HEC calendar and reported the same way by several Pakistani education news outlets. We could not open the HEC PDF directly during this update, so please confirm on the official link above or on etc.hec.gov.pk before you register.

Status: awaited. HEC has not yet published its ETC test calendar for 2027, so there are no official LAT dates for next year. We will not guess them. When HEC releases the 2027 calendar, this page will list every sitting with registration and result dates.
How to register for the LAT
- Go to the HEC Education Testing Council portal, etc.hec.gov.pk, and create an account.
- Choose the Law Admission Test and the sitting you want (for November 2026, apply before 20 October).
- Pay the test fee as instructed on the portal and keep the receipt.
- Download your roll number slip from the same portal when it opens (6 November 2026 for LAT-5).

I missed the 20 October deadline. What now?
HEC hasn’t announced any late registration for LAT-5. The next chance will be the first LAT of 2027, whose date will appear in HEC’s 2027 test calendar; we’ll add it here as soon as it’s published.
