Which test is this?
ECAT is the Engineering College Admission Test run by the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore as its combined entrance test for undergraduate engineering admissions. UET calls it the “Combined Entrance Test”. This page tracks the ECAT for the Fall 2027 intake – in other words the test that 2nd year (FSc Pre-Engineering, ICS and equivalent) students sitting their 2027 board exams will take.
In 2026, UET ran ECAT twice. The first phase came before the intermediate board exams, and the second phase came in June after the board exams ended. Candidates could take part in either phase.
